Over his career, Jim has designed and delivered first class client service in a number of
executive roles. Currently retired, Jim was formerly President and C.E.O of Design Build Concepts (DBC)
until it's acquisition in late 2007. Jim had guided the company to record revenue growth. By instilling
his values of client service and integrity from the planning phases
through construction and beyond, Jim has maintained an impressive client
retention rate. With his personal commitment to the success of each
program and his dedication to developing long-term relationships, he
motivates each employee to deliver a level of customer service that
exceeds client expectations.Prior to DBC, Jim was a banker with C&S National Bank, an IBM executive
and an award-winning residential builder in the Atlanta area. He is
a former President of the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association and
serves as a life member on their Board of Directors. He was also selected
as a recipient of the Professionalism Award in Building from the Atlanta
Journal Constitution out of 2,000 area builders and continues to apply
those same standards of professionalism, quality, and customer service
to his work today.
Jim received a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of
Alabama and has recently completed his term as the National President
of the University of Alabama Alumni Association. Jim also serves on the President's Cabinet at the
University as well as being a member of the current Capital Campaign.
