Jeff Lemming is the Leader of the Consumer, E-commerce and Retail Sector of
The Caldwell Partners, one of North America’s premier providers of executive
search for almost 40 years. He was previously with Heidrick & Struggles, as
a partner and a member of the Retail, Consumer, Marketing and Supply Chain
practices. Prior to that he was the leader of Highland Partners’ Fashion &
Retail Practice before its acquisition by Heidrick & Struggles in 2006. In
1988 he was a co-founder of Lemming/LeVan, Inc., an executive search firm
specializing in retail/fashion and related industries that was acquired by
TMP Worldwide (which later spun off Highland Partners) in 1999.
Jeff entered retail executive search in 1983, after a 10-year career in
retail where he gained experience as a merchant and in general operations.
Since entering the executive search field he has gained broad-based experience,
having conducted searches in every functional area of a retail organization, up
to and including CEOs and Board Members. Many searches have been completed for
international corporations seeking an expanded U.S. presence.
Jeff received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Miami University.
