Greg Russell is Senior Vice President and Senior Lending Officer with Private Bank of Decatur,
a division of Private Bank of Buckhead. He is responsible for banking activity, business development
and building the bank’s brand in Decatur and surrounding markets. Greg previously worked with C & S Bank
(now Bank of America), Park Avenue Bank and Bank of North Georgia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance
from Georgia State University, as well as an MBA, also from GSU. He is a graduate of Leadership Rockdale
and the Synovus Leadership Institute. Greg served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, from which he
received an Honorable Discharge. The native Atlantan is a longtime resident of DeKalb County, where he and
his family currently reside. When not at the bank, Greg loves watching and playing all sorts of sports,
following current events, reading, traveling, movies and fishing.
